A New “Take My Breath Away” American Idol Performance

I’m almost afraid to blog about this performance because I’m afraid that everyone will think I’m just fickle. The truth of the matter is that the calibre of talent on this year’s American Idol means it is very difficult to choose a favorite – or favorites.

Every week it seems, a different contestant stands out, and this week was no exception. As a matter of fact, two contestants stood out from the crowd in their duet – Jessica Sanchez and Joshua Ledet singing “I Knew You Were Waiting”, which was originally performed by Aretha Franklin and George Michael. What a wonderful performance it was too, and it’s so hard to believe Jessica is only sixteen.
